Please accept my and Liz's sincere condolences for the loss of Kevin.
Kevin and I met as apprentices at Binder Tool and Mold in the late 1970's. We worked together over 10 years and I have hundreds of fond memories. During those 10 years we spent some time on afternoon shift which was where people got to know each other very well. All of us--Myself, Kevin, Danny, Roy, Brian, and many others kind of grew up together. We all started working at 18 years old and worked together for years. We attended each other's stag's and weddings, had numerous parties as couples and friends. Kevin was a very giving and sharing kind of guy. He shared his brother's Brian and Mark, as well as his personal friends -Bob, Marty and Donny. The Crew from BTM made good friends with all Kevin's family and friends through many parties, BBQ's, Friday's at the Michigan Tavern, and even our silly "Investment Club" [which was a reason to get together and have fun..]
We lost touch over the years as our careers took us in different directions, but I will always remember him as a good friend and even better man!

I first met Kevin the summer of 1979 after completing my secondary school and accepting a mold making apprenticeship at Binder Tool and Mold where Kevin was also working towards his apprenticeship but a couple years ahead of me ..... He was one of the guys who welcomed me to the group and helped me with whatever he could, and I was part of the this great group of people in no time flat ... We worked hard and partied hard during the following years and then the economic downturn in 1981 brought Kevin and I some time off in late May .... PERFECT we said !!! Kevin said let's celebrate our lay-off over a couple beers back at the pad on Malden Road .... Who was I to disagree with that thought process being an impressionable young male ... LOL ... OHH and Kevin thought it would make perfect sense if he got a dog to help bring some joy to an otherwise sad time in one's career .... He named him "Poggie" .... a fitting name for the times we were experiencing.... IT WAS THE BEST SUMMER OF MY LIFE !!! EVER !!! .... and I thank Kevin for giving me that experience and allowing me to be his friend ..... I just wish he was here still .... I will remember him for the kindness and love he showed for everyone he touched .... I sit here teary eyed.... and sad that I will only now have my memories of Kevin .... But that's OK right now..... as we will tip a glass together again one day .... I'm sure of that .... I love ya brother !!! My condolences to his family ....
