Obituary of Gail Doreen Koziana (nee Jones, Sparling)

February 3, 1939 - January 24, 2025

Gail passed peacefully after a lengthy illness with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her parents William (1961) and Elva (2008) and Pauline Ulch (Jones) (2012). One of her greatest joys was meeting her extended family in her 80^th year. To this end, she is survived by her siblings Judy Ryan (Bud, 2004) and Doug, Jim (Judy), Dave (Linda), and Jack (Marilyn) Ulch, as well as several nieces and nephews. Loving partner to Ken Mills (2016) and former spouse of John Koziana (2023).

Dear mother to Michele & Mike Janosik and Kim & Matt Seguin; also Laura Laird, Tracy Fouquet and John Plouffe. Cherished grandmother of Jake Janosik, Austin and Andrew Seguin.

Gail was employed at GM Trim where she worked for 29 years before retiring. An avid music lover, Gail could often be found playing her keyboard much to the enjoyment of others. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and fur babies. A special thank you to ParaMed, and all those involved in her continuing care and comfort.

As per Gail’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will be held at a future date. If you so desire, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
