Obituary of Jeanne Anita Papineau

It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of Jeanne in hospital on Sunday December 11, 2016 at the age of 90. Re-united with the love of her life, Benedict Papineau (2001), whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Ford City, Windsor, Ontario, on August 27, 1926. Predeceased by her parents Denis and Marie Adam and her brothers Raymond (1944) and Marcel (2015). Survived by her dear sister Theresa Collins. Jeanne was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and a very special aunt to Carolyn and Martin. She will be very sadly missed but remain in our hearts. She will always be remembered for her warmth, kind heart and her incredible talents. Jeanne was a “Master” of knitting and needlepoint. Her gifts of flawless baby sets, sweaters, scarves and other apparel was a source of pride for the family. In keeping with Jeanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Jeanne’s ashes will be interred with her husband at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Windsor, ON. A memorial mass will take place at a later date.
