Obituary of Rose Marie Gerard - Carriere

January 21st, 1930 - January 2nd, 2024 Rose passed away peacefully at the Country Village Nursing Home in Woodslee. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Don Gerard (2002). She spent her later years with Joseph Carriere (2016). Cherished Mother to Gisele (Mark), Jean Louis (Karen), and Claudette. She will be missed by her grandchildren Matt, Robert, Matty and Sam as well as friends Shirley, Simone, Tracey, Rosa and Lynda. Rose loved to spend her time pedal biking on the trails in Essex County and traveling. She could always be found dancing at every opportunity. Dance like no one is watching, Mom! We love you. Sincere thanks to the staff at the Country Village Nursing Home for their compassion, kindness, and care. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date (to be determined). Donations can be made in Rose’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society or Humane Society.
