My brother and I are among Ross’s first cousins so I have known Ross since he was born, in my hometown of Stratford. To say that this is a hard loss would be an understatement. To Elaine, Morgan, Murray, my uncle Bill and aunt Donna and cousin Kelly (and Dave, Emily and Will), we are so sorry and there just are no words that seem sufficient.
I so glad we all had a chance to meet as a group back in summer 2014, geography being what it is. I last traded texts with Ross in late September, after talking to him on the phone over a year ago, to discuss the additional members of our Grandmother Anderson’s family, genealogical research that Ross and his mother had both done. I am sorry now that I didn’t get a chance to meet with Ross in person to catch up on his research and life in general.
I’ve enclosed some old family photos that my brother Bruce has shared out of albums he kept from our late parents, Ross’s uncle Gord and aunt Joan.
One picture is of Ross taking some bold-looking steps as a toddler, with his late uncle Gord (my father) in the background. Another is of my uncles Bill and Ken (and me) with a widely grinning young Ross. Still another is of my brother Bruce and me as children, sitting with Ross (who is looking mischievous). Finally, there is a photo of our late Grandmother, Grace Anderson, with Ross, Kelly, Bruce and I.
Our hearts go out to you. Ross was a warm, caring and always happy person and we will all miss him dearly.

Elaine, Morgan and Murray and the rest of Ross's family.
My heart breaks for you. Ross always had a smile and a quick conversation whenever I saw him at the grocery store, down the street or anywhere else in town.
You both were a big help to me back when the kids were in grade school and there was so much shuttling to be done.
Please know that Ross touched many people in his life and will be missed by many, most importantly you. I know what it's like to lose a father at a young age and it is a hard thing to go thru but know your friends and family will help you thru. Sending you all many hugs and thoughts.
