Obituary of Imelda Ida Riva (nee Piccinin)

Died peacefully at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital in Windsor Ontario on Tuesday September 26, 2023 at 94 years of age. Born in Prata di Pordenone Italy September 1929. Imelda married Enrico Riva and moved to Canada in 1956. Raised there loving children Angelo Riva (Kelly) and Florence Mele (Ross). Dear Nonna of Nicholas (Sara), Nathan, Natalie, Michael and Stephine and Great grandmother of Clara. Predeceased by her siblings Secondo, Giovani, Tarcisio, Onorio, and Evelina. Donations in memory of Imelda to Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, Emara Building Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary’s Church London, Ontario (345 Lyle St.) on Monday October 2nd, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
