Obituary of Ernest "Ernie" Joseph Langlois

Passed away peacefully on February 8, 2023 . Loving husband of the late June Langlois (Nantais), (2017). Predeceased by his late wife Rose Marie Langlois (Clements), (1965) and his parents Wilfrid and Lorette Langlois. He will be sadly missed by his children Susan (late Myke), Debbie (Jim), Michelle (Tim), Denise (Wilbs), Randy (Donna), Mark, Annette (Randy), Barry (Patti), Karen (late John), Jerry (Sally), and Little Michelle (Neil). He will also be missed by his 28 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Ernie was a retired custodian from the Windsor Catholic School Board and he enjoyed coaching Minor Hockey in Lasalle (Sandwich West) for many years. He also loved playing horseshoes at home and at the K of C in River Canard. Ernie also was a “die hard” fan of the Montreal Canadians and was a huge fan of the Windsor Spitfires. He never turned down the opportunity to play Euchre when company came around. A huge thank you to all the staff, nurses, PSWs, and doctors at Sun Parlor Nursing Home in Leamington for all of their excellent care and compassion. Cremation and burial have already taken place. The family will be receiving relatives and friends for condolences and a Celebration of his life at the K of C Hall (8965 Malden Rd.) in River Canard on Thursday February 16, 2023 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. You may share your condolences online at www.cremationsociety.ca or through the Windsor Star- obits.
