Lifelong friends for over 50 years, Doug and I met in grade school in Etobicoke (Toronto). Despite several moves around North America by both of us, we always stayed in touch and visited each other’s homes. All the great sporting events we attended will be cherished memories.
You can’t put 50 years into a small paragraph, so I will close by saying how lucky I was to have enjoyed such a great friendship. He will be missed.
