McNORTON, Karen Marie

December 11, 1952 – November 11, 2019

Karen left this world with peace and dignity. She was the daughter of the late Andy and Mary Schertzer and is survived by her husband and best friend David, her brother Michael Schertzer, her sister Patty Dworatschek and her husband Norm. Karen was a Kennedy CI and U of Windsor grad, and taught for many years at Mayfield Secondary School in Caledon. She was also a world traveller, a birder, a fan of theatre, opera, the symphony, British novels and TV, and – for some reason – the Boston Red Sox. Karen did not want a memorial service, and her wish was granted.
