Obituary of Frank Macri

It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Macri announce his passing on September 15, 2019, at the age of 92.  Beloved husband of the late Marie.  Loving father of Marjorie Speranza (Carl), Mike (Doreen), and David.  Proud grandfather of Kimberly, Angela (Nathan), Aaron and David, and great-grandfather of Weston and Raya.  Frank was the dear brother of the late Albert (Helen), Matthew (Anita), and baby brother Frank, Natalina (John), Ida (survived by her husband Ray), Iolanda (survived by her husband Primo), and is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Frank was retired from the Government of Canada, Property Management division (Manitoba-based in his beloved Churchill), and (Saskatchewan-Regina).  Frank enjoyed the company of his many caring neighbours.  He is remembered for his good nature, gentlemanly manners and sense of humour.  He brought a smile to everyone who knew him.  

A sincere heartfelt thank-you to Dr. State and his medical team at the Windsor Essex Community Health Centre for their compassion and dedication to his care over these many years.

Cremation has taken place, and as per Frank’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.  A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
