Obituary of Karen Irene Dusome-Koch (Kelley)

Passed away suddenly on June 28, 2019, in Windsor, Ontario.  Born in Detroit, Michigan on March 20, 1945 to the late Chester and Wanda Kelley.  Beloved wife of David Ward Koch for 36 years. Loving mother to Shawn and Monica (Cundle).  Cherished grandmother of Karlee and Jake. Sister to Alan and Judith Kelley, Sandra (Cookie) and Earl (predeceased) Smith, and Jan and Kevin (predeceased) Erne.  Sister-In-Law to Jim Babin, Dianne Robitaille, Ruth Millette, AnnMary and Jean Lantain, and Eddy (predeceased) and Linda Dusome. Aunt to Christine and Ken Siegert, Kyle and Jenny Erne, Kelsey Erne and Jimmy Ritchie, Kaitlyn and Joe Kennedy, Jason Smith, Jennifer and Jeff Cherninsky, Jennifer and Charlie Stairs, Julie and Mark Johns, Chris Polehoykie, Sherri Notman, Terresa Janzier, Elisha Boudreau, Tammy Belanger, Joey and Tim (predeceased) Lantain, Lee, Justus, Dustin, Samantha, and Marika Dusome.  She will also be greatly missed by many adored great nieces and nephews, and her beloved pets Cagney and Charlee. She graduated from St Mary’s School in Downtown Detroit. She retired after 27 years of service as an administrative assistant at Prudential Insurance Co. in Orange, California and Harper Woods, Michigan. The family wishes to extend our sincerest appreciation for all the love and support of family, friends, and doctors. Especially Dr Joshua Starr and staff, and medical personnel at Met Hospital.  We will continue to love, cherish and honour your memory. Your dedication to family will serve as a great example and we will always strive to live and love the way you have taught us. You will always be in our hearts, forever.
