Obituary of Nora Victoria Meloche

 (nee Logan)

Following a brief illness and surrounded by her family, Nora passed away at WRH- Ouellette Campus on May 13, 2019 at 76 years of age. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lieutenant-Colonel (ret’d) Denis Meloche and her children Elizabeth (Tom) Cook, Christopher (Sherry) Meloche, and Victoria Meloche. She is also survived by three grandchildren—Stephanie (Colton), Jennifer (Jessie) and Joseph (Katherine); as well as seven great-grandchildren—Brooklynn, Sydney, Allison, Mackenzie, Easton, Jackson and Abigail. Dear sister to Patricia MacDougall, Port Perry, ON. Sister-in-law to John (Barbara) Meloche.

Nora was a retired teacher with Windsor and Durham Boards of Education. She cherished fond memories and friendships with The Windsor Regiment, Windsor Service Battalion and The Ontario Regiment (RCAC) in Oshawa.

The family would like to thank the Staff on CTU and 6 East for their caring and compassionate treatment and support.

At her request cremation has taken place and friends will be invited to join the family for a Celebration of her Life in the future.
