Obituary of Daphne Purcell

November 14, 1921 – March 10, 2018

We are sad to announce the passing of Daphne Purcell, pre-deceased by her husband Joseph (1991), making her the family Matriarch for the past 27 years. Loving mother of David (Barbara), John (Kathy Harvie) and Vanessa Boggs (Rick). Dear grandmother of Cathy, Adam (Megan), Erin (Kalina), Kate (Ian), Paige (Keegan), Joey and great-grandmother of Anderson, Marshall, Mckenna and Ainsley. Family was the most important part of Daphne’s life, as exemplified by her “Sunday Dinners”. She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Freeman and all the staff at HDGH Palliative Care Unit for their outstanding care during Daphne’s last days. If you so desire, memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness. At her request, cremation has taken place and the family will celebrate her life at a later date.
