Obituary of Christopher John Kell

Today we announce the completion of a life well lived, Christopher John Kell at the age of 84 on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. 

Chris didn't just live a life, he celebrated every moment and leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love. 

Chris is survived by his wife Janet, daughters Elizabeth LaDouceur (Bill) and Susan Renaud (Wayne). Brother to Thomas, Patrick, David (2026), and Peter (1996). Grandchildren Christian LaDouceur, Paige Brackell (Josh), William LaDouceur, Brady Lauzon (Megan), Mitch Lauzon (Carly), and Hannah Lauzon. Great grandchildren Lucy, Noah, Jameson, Walker, Zayne, Knox, Rhys, Mason and Blake. 

Jimmy one (if you know, you know) was a drummer with the Scottish Society of Windsor Pipe Band, seasoned traveller, self employed jack of all trades, and recently became a Scottish Lord.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at Huron Lodge Poplar unit. You didn’t just care for Chris, you treated him like family and made Poplar feel like home.

Chris is loved beyond words, and will be missed beyond measure. A celebration of life will follow in September.
