Obituary of William “Bill” Clarke

Passed away on May 26, 2026, at 71 years of age with his loving family by his side. Reunited with his beloved wife Joan (nee Devine) (2016). Cherished father of Kevin Matté (Heather) and Alison Matté (Mike Soda). Treasured Grandpa of Ronin. Dear brother of Michael Clarke (Penny), the late Ambrose Clarke (late Gayle) and Annie Byrne (Harvey). Loved brother-in-law of Ann Devine-Fantin (Wayne), the late John Devine, the late Mary Daubney, Dan Devine and Cathy Devine. Adored uncle of Jon and James Byrne and Michelle and Meridith Clarke. He will be sadly missed by his many cousins and extended family.

Bill has been retired from Chrysler for 22 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his dogs, cats, travelling to Barry’s Bay, and he never missed a Toronto Blue Jay’s game.

Cremation services entrusted to Cremation Society of Windsor & Essex County (3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5449). Interment will take place, alongside his wife Joan at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
