Sending love and hugs. We will all miss his sense of humour, his quietness and for me his love of watching our children and grandchildren with his quiet attentiveness and love I could see as he watched them without saying a word. We will all miss him so much.

in memory of my dad, he will be missed by me and my family. He made me proud and he made me similar. My dad love sports.. hockey as a goalie ,baseball as a pitcher and loved riding ski doos ,when he was not fixing them. I think he loved fixing them more than riding them as he got older For me. he made me a goalie. He made me a pitcher and made me love skidding. and working on everything the same as him.wrenches in our hands all day long .Helping people so my father and my dad will be severely missed, rest in peace dad love your forever Stephen.Alyssa,Justin

For so many decades we were blessed with Al's wit, kindness and generosity. We knew Kathy and Tara were in good hands when we met him all those years ago.
We enjoyed his sense of humour, and loved the way he treated his own and others' pets. (Our Eddie always claimed Al's lap when he sat down, and seemed to revel in the calmness and love he felt in those ear-scratches). We hope he is doing some ear scratching now with Motley, and Ginny.
We appreciated his willingness to take the younger generation fishing and to share his knowledge. We still have many of the wooden crafts he made and gave us...Christmas decorations ,a lamp, a paper-towel holder...the kind of things you use daily and always thought of him when you did.
From sharing cookies in the kitchen, to beer in the garage, hockey-talk, and cards, he was our brother-in-law, and our friend. Big Al's passing has left a big emptiness, and we are so very grateful for all the years we had.
Denis and Laura

I’ve known Al for many years as one of my Dads best buddies, working at Silverwoods, fishing, snowmobiling and drinking beer. One of my favorite memories of Al, was when I was maybe 12 years old, he took my brother Mike and I on the Cream run between Lindsay and North Bay. I don’t think I ever laughed so hard in my life! I looked up to Big Al. Enjoyed when he pitched for King Ford and played hockey as a goalie. I can still hear his laugh and see his smile, he was one that thoroughly enjoyed life
