Obituary of George A. Lesperance

George A. Lesperance, a cherished son, devoted father, beloved grandfather, and esteemed friend, passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on July 14, 1943, in Windsor, Ontario, George lived a life rich in love and dedication, deeply rooted in his family and community.

George was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Mae Lesperance, as well as his sister, Linda Papineau.

George was a devoted husband to his late wife, Joan C. Lesperance (Omdal), who passed before him. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless memories that will forever echo in the hearts of their family. George was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Papineau, whose memory he held dear throughout his life.

George is survived by his two beloved sons, George Arthur Lesperance Jr. and Eric Lesperance. He took great pride in his role as a father, guiding his sons with wisdom and compassion. George shared cherished memories with Eric and Bob-Jo, who both deeply valued the bond they created as a family

As a grandfather, George's heart only grew larger, encompassing his precious grandchildren, Lillian Joan Lesperance and Lucas William Lesperance. He often spoke of them with an overflowing sense of pride and joy, relishing every moment spent together, whether it was through playful adventures or quiet storytelling sessions.

In accordance with George's wishes, a private funeral service will be held.
