Obituary of Richard Dyer

With deep sadness we share that Rick passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, aged 70, surrounded by family and friends.

Rick is survived by his cherished wife of 48 years, Dawn Rose Dyer (Chapelle). Loving father to Amanda Dawn Dyer and spouse, Ryan Richard Dyer, Grant Adam Dyer and spouse, Jasmin Scott Dyer, and Dawn Jacobs. Proud Papa to Asia Rose, Brooklyn Mackenzie, Jack-Ryan Richard William, Isabella Suravi, Grayson Zachary Grant, Dylan Taj, Jordyn, and Joshua. Dear brother to Patricia Lefebvre and brother-in-law to Len Chapelle, Barry Chapelle, and Dale Chapelle Poff.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in law.

Rick was a loyal friend who was blessed with many people by his side through every season of his life. He loved his fur-baby, David Dickens. He worked hard, kept going without complaint, and met each day with quiet optimism. He taught us that what matters most are the people you love, the memories you make, and the smiles and laughter you share.

A Celebration of Life will be hosted on November 8, 2025 for close friends and family. Details will follow.
