Dawn and Family Rick was a wonderful person with a very calming , kind and pleasant demeanour We were very fortunate to have him as part of our life adventure Rick always amazed us with his resilience and he will be fondly remembered for his bravery in fighting every battle cancer sent his way Rick rest in well deserved peace He has left a legacy behind for the world to enjoy, lucky us! Rick was like a second Dad to me growing up. I always felt welcome in the family home. Rick made all the kids laugh, he tucked us in with blankets warmed in the dryer at night, he made sure to see if use girls had taken off our necklaces off at night for our safety, and always came home from work with a bunch of candy for his kids; to share with any of the kids who stayed over. He was a.lovely soul, and the way we kids saw him teach his wife Dawn, his family, and all those kids who got to be part of the Dyer world at any point was a true example of how to be a great Father, Husband, Friend, and person in general. I am sorry Amanda, Dawn, Ryan, Grant, Jasmine; and all the rest of the Dyer family/extended family. I do wish I could be there for you in person. Love, hugs, and prayers from Alberta; This news saddens me so much.
