Obituary of Rex Gardner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, Rex Gardner, born September 18, 1958. He left us suddenly not far from where he lived in Windsor. He’s now with his parents Edna and Francis Gardner and so many other family members and friends. Survived by brothers Wayne (Sandy), Marvin, and Kirk (Vicki). Leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special longtime friend Luanne.

He was retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force where he served 15 years as a top-notch mechanic in Ottawa until moving back to Essex County in the 1990s. He was a guitar wizard, loved his pets, and was always a fun witty character to be around.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
