Obituary of Andrea Dewhurst

After a tragically brief illness, Andrea was united with her Saviour in her eternal home, on April 22, 2025, at the age of 41.  Treasured daughter of Linda Dewhurst and the late Gary Dewhurst (2020).  Much loved sister of Caryn Hazzard and husband Richard.  World’s best auntie of Aubrey, Josiah and little Norah.  Andrea spent her life pouring into the lives of children.  At work, she nurtured all those she came in contact with.  At church, she selflessly ministered to and took seriously to teaching the gospel to hundreds of children.  She will always be known as the teacher that could calm any child.  Andrea’s pride and joy was being a devoted aunt, and she will be irreplaceable. Special thank you to those family and friends who cared for her so compassionately in her last days.   Through all of life’s trials, she kept the Lord first in her life, and served Him until her last breath.   Her eternal joy will be everlasting. 

Cremation has taken place. 

A Celebration of Andrea’s life will take place at Harvest Bible Church Windsor, 2001 Spring Garden Road at 1:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
